Basic tattoo aftercare
Follow the piece-specific instructions your artist gives you. In general, wash your hands before touching the tattoo, clean it gently as advised and keep it dry.
General guidance
Avoid picking, soaking, swimming, saunas and prolonged sun exposure until the skin has healed. Seek medical care for worsening pain, heat, swelling, discharge or fever.
